The Morgan Condos

Art and design are in the air at The Morgan Condos!

From its placement on Richmond Street, The Morgan condos are surrounded by a vibrant, artsy community. The building itself is an Art Deco triumph. The lobby features an indoor sculpture garden and a noble spiral staircase, bringing the dedication to design to the fifteen storeys within. The 217 condos within range from 412 square foot studios to two bedroom-two bathroom suites. There’s also a dramatic 4,110 square foot penthouse. With multiple floor plans, there’s a space suited for nearly everyone.

Inside 438 Richmond Street West, the building’s unique architecture is celebrated through the angles and features of each suite, making the best use of all available space. There are plenty of luxury touches, such as wood and tile floors, stainless appliances, and soaker tubs. There are also plenty of large, airy windows that let in plenty of light and unbelievable city views.

438 Richmond Street West Amenities

The Morgan condos are artfully equipped with amenities that accentuate a busy lifestyle.  There’s a well-equipped gym for getting a great workout. A sauna lets you sweat away the fret.  Relax on the rooftop deck with a book, or watch the sunset on the skyline. There’s a cinema for group watch-alongs, and a party room for celebrations with the neighbours. Choose the meeting room for discussions and conferences. Pets are permitted at The Morgan condos, and guests and residents alike will be thankful for the designated parking.

438 Richmond Street West Neighbourhood

The Morgan condos are surrounded by some of the most artistic vibes found in the Queen West neighbourhood.  Richmond Street West runs parallel to Graffiti Alley, which has become a central gathering point for a large collection of independent galleries, particularly around Richmond Street and Spadina Avenue.  Running from Portland Street to Spadina Avenue, Graffiti Alley is a full kilometre of colourful street art.  The displays and themes vary, making this an ever-evolving living art gallery in its own right.

The performing arts are also important in the Queen West neighbourhood.  Just a few blocks over, enjoy live music and performances at Velvet Underground, or check out Canadian theatre in the historic Factory Theatre mansion. Cameron House is another close spot for music and art.

Beyond the culture, the Queen West neighbourhood has everything you might need, just outside the doorstep on Richmond Street West. In fact, there’s a Starbucks and a Le Gourmand right on the corner!  Directly across the street from The Morgan condos are a Freshii and Mana’ish Global Flatbread Cafe.

Strolling down Richmond Street West, find Fresh on Spadina, Buna’s Kitchen, CJ Lunchbox, and Ricarda’s Toronto, bringing a wealth of culinary delights right to you. For cocktails, try Watson’s or Wide Open, all within the same block.  Loblaw’s is on Richmond Street, providing an option for fresh food without having to juggle groceries any great distance.  There’s even the Alex Wilson Community Garden, for those with green thumbs.

On the other side of Graffiti Alley from The Morgan condos is another cultural hub- Queen Street West.  Here there are more unique shopping and dining options. Choose from Fancy Franks Gourmet, Bahn Mi Boys, KINTON Ramen, My Roti Place, The Burger’s Priest, and Aji Sal, just to name a few of the options in the immediate vicinity. For that insatiable sweet tooth, check out Cacao 70 Eatery, Cool N2 Nitrogen Ice Cream, or Kekou Gelato.

Given the creative vibe of the neighbourhood, it should be no surprise that Queen Street West offers loads of shopping for supplies to satisfy any artist or crafter.  From fabric and notions to beads and more, there are plenty of stops for stocking up for the next big project.

Queen Street is also home to more nightly unwinding options. Try the Rivoli Pool House for cocktails and a casual game of pool, or Barhop Brewco for loads of beer options from the hoppiest to the sourest.

The closest green space to Richmond Street West is the St Andrews Playground. Just a block down Brant Street, this spot was once a public market. Now, it’s home to a playground, dog park, and paths for strolling and catching up with a busy day of thoughts and contemplations.

With its artistic tendencies, the Queen West neighbourhood is perfect for those who draw inspiration from the bustling city life, making this a space that cultivates a creative spirit.
