Condos in Yonge and Bloor

Yonge and Bloor Condos For Sale

Known for being one of Toronto’s most characteristic intersections, the Yonge and Bloor neighbourhood is at the heart of this lovable city’s center. At the heart of this bustling neighbourhood is the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM), a thriving cultural center known globally for its unique exhibits and rare collections, including its geological collection, dinosaur bones, and cultural artifacts. Mixing the modern with Toronto’s prideful heritage, Yonge and Bloor offer residents a bit of everything.

Bordering Church Street and Rosedale, and including parts of Yorkville and the Bay Street Corridor, the Yonge and Bloor neighbourhood is a commuter’s paradise and filled with lots of entertainment, dining options, and sites to see. Known as the unofficial dividing line between midtown and downtown Toronto, Yonge and Bloor offer residents access to Toronto’s transit, including access to the VIA, GO, and UP lines and the local airports, as well as improved accessibility features throughout. Nestled right at the intersection of Yonge Street and Bloor Street is the Yonge-Bloor subway stop, making this the ideal place for a working professional to live, while still staying connected to other, equally as exciting parts of this livable city.

Transit may not always be required, though, as this neighbourhood is within walking distance to the Financial District, which is home to a large majority of the city’s businesses, University of Toronto, and Yorkville neighbourhoods. With a high walkability score and hundreds of food places and watering holes, Yonge and Bloor is great for the young, working professional who like the best of both worlds.

With Yorkville at your fingertips and the appeal of the Royal Ontario Museum as a beacon at the main intersection, residents of Yonge and Bloor will find this neighbourhood ultimately hip, connected, and thriving. This neighbourhood is virtually at the center of this city and is one of the top neighbourhoods to live in Toronto.

No longer do you need to sit on the TTC bus or drive into work; instead, residents of the Yonge and Bloor neighbourhood will typically walk to work, whether they are headed to the University or down to the Financial District. There’s the TCAF Store, Kitchen Stuff Plus, Holts Salon and Spa, and Holt Renfrew. Shopping is plentiful on both Bloor and the Yonge Strip, as well as in Yorkville. This area is great if you live for a healthy lifestyle and staying mentally and physically fit!

Even if you’re not into history or museums, the ROM hosts its ever-popular Friday Night at the ROM, which provides guests with a night-out in the ROM’s unique atmosphere. Food “trucks” and drinks are posted throughout select levels of the ROM and party-goers get to let loose while the DJ plays tunes in multiple areas. On any level, guests can take advantage of a headphone disco!

This area is brimming with nightlife as well. Connected to Yorkville, residents of one of the Yonge and Bloor condos for sale will love spots like Hemingway’s Restaurant and Bar Reyna, or posh spots like Amber, comfortable Asian lounge, or Prive Yorkville as a premium nightclub.
