If you’re in a hurry, but time is still not as important as getting that cappuccino or cup of coffee, you can stop by the Starbucks or Tim Hortons for quick service on your way to work. However, if you have the time to stop and breath in the scent of your latte, then consider stopping in at one of many cafes in the area. There is Quantum Coffee, a trendy place for an espresso, or the Fahrenheit Coffee shop, a local place for gourmet coffee, and the Little Nicky’s Coffee, a cafe with vintage decor and mini-donuts! 

Sick of cooking? Then get out of the house and dine out! With your location at 21 Camden St., there is an exhaustive list of restaurants to choose from. If you’re in the mood for seafood, then go to Rodney’s Oyster House, for a seasonal menu, or the Pizzeria Libretto, for a Neapolitan style of pizza. You can also go to Wilbur Mexicana for an apothecary experience at a Mexican restaurant! For something more Canadian, chow down on a burger and fries at the Burger’s Priest, also within a few blocks of your new home at 21 Camden Lofts. Whenever you’re more in the mood for fast food, then go to the local McDonald’s or A&W for a burger, or get some fried chicken from Popeyes Queen and Spadina.

For whenever you need to blow off some steam and need a night out on the town, you can always start your night off at Fynn’s of Temple Bar, which has good quality pub food, vibrant, live music, and a good selection of drinks on their menu. There’s also the Bar Hop, which has a broad selection of craft beer, even for the most discriminating of tastes. Later on, you can go to the Belfast Love Public House, which has an electric atmosphere and the opportunity to get in a little pool. Finally, you can go to The Friar, which has traditional, British decor and a long list of international brews.

On those days where you need to stretch your legs and take a walk, there are many parks to choose from in the area of 21 Camden Lofts. For a quick walk, you can make your rounds to the Grange or Larry Sefton Park to the west, or go to the Trinity Bellwoods and Stanley Park to the east. There’s also the Victoria Memorial Square and Clarence Square Parks to the south. If you’d like to take a longer walk, then you can visit one or all of the many parks that dot the waterfront. From there you can even take the ferry to the Toronto Islands where you can spend the day at the amusement park or one of the marinas there. 

For theatre buffs, there are plenty of choices in the area including, the Necessary Angel Theatre, Theatre Ontario, and Scotiabank Theatre Toronto, all of which are great places to catch a play and they’re all within five blocks of your new home. For a little more culture and history, you can also visit the Fort York National Historic Site, the Toronto Railway Museum, the Art Gallery of Ontario, and the Campbell House Museum nearby.

Other attractions in the neighbourhood include the CN Tower, the Exhibition Grounds, the Distillery District, and the Waterfront District.

21 Camden Lofts at 21 Camden St. are in a neighbourhood that is considered to be an excellent place to walk and is also considered a great place to bike. They are also in an area marked as excellent for whenever you need to take the local transit.
