If you’d like to get out and experience the local nightlife, then you can begin your night at the Mullins Irish Pub, just a block away from your new home at 1001 Bay. This is a neighbourhood alehouse with televised sports. Afterwards, you can try the Wickson Social, which is a more sophisticated spot for drinks and has a European menu. You can end your night at Fox and Fiddle, which is situated in a landmark building. 

On an afternoon, where you’d like to take a walk, you can walk to the large Queen’s Park, just a few blocks away to the west or take a longer walk to the Barbara Hall Park, just a couple of blocks east of your front door. The Rosedale Ravine Lands Park and the Ryerson Community Park are also in the area. If you’re more in the mood to catch a play, then stop in at the Isabel Bader Theatre or the Ryerson Theatre, both of which are within an easy walk. When you want to see a movie the Cineplex Cinemas Varsity and VIP are just to the north and the Cineplex Cinemas Yonge-Dundas and VIP are just to the south. If you’d like to take in a little bit of history and culture, the Gardiner Museum and the Ukrainian Museum of Canada, Ontario Branch are in the area.

The Bay St. Corridor neighbourhood is considered to be an excellent place for walking and a great area for biking. Local Transit is also easily accessible from your new residence at 1001 Bay on 1001 Bay St.
