One Cole Condos
Green living in a great new neighbourhood at One Cole!
One Cole condos have the honour of being the first development in Regent Park’s recent revitalization project AND the 2010 winner of a Green Toronto Design Award. This distinguished building rises above Cole Street, and its 292 condos are housed in two eco-friendly buildings with a joining podium- one nineteen storeys, and the other 9 storeys, surrounded by nine townhomes. From 435 square foot one bedroom condos to 1,275 square foot three bedroom suites, the open layouts of the 1 Cole Street offer a variety of space to compliment your individual style.
One Cole condos are not only remarkable in their construction, they are elegant and well-appointed inside, as well. Each condo features floor to ceiling windows, which let in plenty of light and warmth. There are private balconies, too, so residents can enjoy lounging outdoors in nice weather. The kitchens feature stainless steel appliances and islands for fantastic entertaining and easy meal prep, too. The flooring is laminate and luxury tile, for a contemporary style throughout.
The amenities at the 1 Cole Street are the perfect addition to a space meant for relaxation and gathering with neighbours. In a neighbourhood that is focussed on developing a sense of community, the One Cole condos offer plenty of space to meet up with new friends. There’s a 20,000 square foot rooftop lounge with a barbecue area and a collection of trees. There’s a community garden area for the residents to share, too. A meeting room and a party room are available indoors, and a fitness area for grabbing a quick workout. Parking is available for residents and their guests, and 1 Cole Street even offer guest suites so out of town visitors to stay awhile.
Regent Park Neighbourhood
The Regent Park neighbourhood is an area that has seen a great deal of change, especially in recent years. As much of the GTA has experienced a refreshing make over as the city surges to a new state of glory, the Regent Park neighbourhood has not seen such a resurgence… until now. With the careful assistance of the Daniels Corporation, the Regent Park neighbourhood has sprung to life with a new commitment to community and the success of all neighbours.
A community that bands together needs space to gather together, and Regent Park is not lacking for such resources. From parks and recreation to community and cultural centres, there are many areas for neighbours to join up. Just a block from the One Cole condos is Regent Park. This large outdoor green space is great for friendly pick up games, playing and picnicking. There’s also a community garden here, and a greenhouse. Regent Park is also home of the Pam McConnell Aquatic Centre, which offers a variety of swimming and splashing opportunities for folks of all ages and abilities.
Just a few blocks south of Regent Park is another collection of community resources. The Regent Park Community Centre, which offers recreational facilities, youth programs, and community resources for everyone in the area. This is also the location of the Regent Park South Ice Rink and the Regent Park Athletic Grounds, which offer heated dressing rooms, fields, basketball court, outdoor track, and multi-purpose room.
The Daniels Spectrum building, in between all of these resources, is a phenomenal cultural centre that celebrates the arts and diverse forms of entertainment produced by residents of Regent Park. This award-winning, fully accessible building event spaces and studios for rehearsing and practicing, room for learning and studying, art exhibitions and educational experiences that support not only the performing arts, but core study subjects as well.
Regent Park offers not only a plethora of community experiences, but diverse dining options that reflect the rich tapestry of culture here, including Sultan of Samosas, Quincy’s Afro-Kitchen and Bar, Main Drug Mart, Pure Pizza and Burger, Bamboo Kitchen, Sukhothai, and Halal Noor Pizza among so many more. This is truly a community that celebrates a place for everybody, and this sense of belonging is only reflected in the One Cole condos.
The One Cole condos are part of the Daniels Corporation’s dedicated revitalization of the Regent Park neighbourhood. In partnership with Toronto Community Housing, the Daniels Corporation has taken responsibility for over 69 acres here, which has already created over 465 jobs within the community. The International Journal of Neighbourhood Renewal has awarded Regent Park the “Best International Neighbourhood Renewal Program” for its remarkable growth and renewed spirit in the past several years. Daniels Corporation considers the construction of a community more than just structures and rooms, but a commitment to the social and cultural structures of an area that binds neighbours and inspires change.
