INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION CONDOS – 670 and 676 Richmond Street West

Date Registered (1998-10-14) and (1999-07-27)

Residing in the original 1950s structure, the crimson brick lofts of Industrial Revolution Condos, and its sister building Industrial Revolution, are selling fast and it’s easy to see why. The condos of Industrial Revolution Condos were built in the original structure of an old warehouse for Decca Records, a UK-based recording studio. It was then repurposed for use into a garment factory and finally into what we see today as the condos of Industrial Revolution Condos.

Residents will love the conversion of the industrial, crimson brick into the 20 authentic lofts and 12 converted lofts in phase 2. The outside structure is a warehouse-style building with large square windows and natural elements throughout. The windows were broadened, though, to let in a lot more natural lighting and the brick was used as elements throughout the lofts.

Industrial Revolution II is located at 670 and 676 Richmond Street West, in the Queen West area. Inside the 12-hard lofts, suites showcase a unique mixture of contemporary elements and hard loft features.

Suite sizes range from 1,000 square feet to 2,000 square feet, and most units actually span between two and three storeys each. These homes offer so much in terms of livability. Spread out and enjoy the ceilings, which span from 12 to 20 feet in height. There are lots of exposed brick and ductwork to retain much of the antiquated industrial feel and hard loft aesthetic.

In addition to this internal ambiance, residents of Industrial Revolution II get to enjoy a number of outdoor spaces, such as a sundeck on the ground floor units or rooftop gardens for upper-level units. Most of the units come with a fireplace as well, so you will be able to cozy up throughout the winters.

Lofts utilize the levels, showcasing mezzanines and lofty-dens. Some lofts also come with dining rooms as well, even though most of the unit is an open concept there is the option for layout and structure. Layouts range from one-bedroom to two-bedroom plus den, with each spanning multiple levels.
