LIBERTY VILLAGE NEIGHBOURHOOD

Liberty Village was once the location of an industrial area within the Toronto Area. Liberty Towers at 59 East Liberty St. was within this same region. The CanAlfa Group purchased the area after shifting industries had left the neighbourhood vacant and in disrepair. A massive undertaking has transformed the area into grand living spaces, chic boutiques, and green parks.

Pick up a coffee at the purely Canadian Tim Hortons or the local Starbucks a couple of blocks away on a Saturday afternoon or before your morning rush to work from 59 East Liberty St. If you’re in the mood for Indian cuisine then stop in at the Maurya East Indian Roti for a curry or have brunch at the exquisite Mildred’s Temple Kitchen, but book early as tables get reserved quickly. For something a little simpler, take a quick walk to the Harvey’s a few blocks from the Liberty Towers where you can enjoy a burger or a hot dog.

For a night out, there is the chance to grab some good pub grub and a beer at 3 Brewers Liberty or the Brazen Head Irish Pub. If you’re in the mood for something a little more sophisticated when leaving Liberty Towers at 59 East Liberty Street, you can also head a block away to Ciao Europa Wine Bar for a cozy atmosphere and a grand selection of wines to choose from. If you need to go for a walk to clear your head afterwards, the Garrison Common is less than a hundred feet away from your new home as is Stanley Park. Of note for the event-oriented person, is the nearby Exhibition Grounds, which encompasses the Queen Elizabeth Theatre, the BMO Field, and the Coca Cola Coliseum, just to name a few so that whether you’re heading out for a bite to eat, a quick drink, or a major game, nothing will be more than a quick walk away from your condo in the Liberty Towers at 59 East Liberty St.

Local transit is always just a few steps away for any time that you need to go elsewhere in Toronto.
