A massive undertaking has transformed the area into grand living spaces, fun shops, and green parks.

There is something for everyone in the Liberty Village neighbourhood. In the morning, grab a cup of coffee at one of the nearby Starbucks or from Jimmy’s Coffee. If you have the time to linger, then sit down at the Aroma Express Bar or take a short walk to the White Squirrel Coffee Shop right next to the Trinity Belwoods Park. For when you don’t have the time or energy to cook, get a quick bite to eat from the McDonald’s or the Harvey’s in the area. If you are in the mood to dine at a more sophisticated place, then make a reservation at the Edulis Restaurant a few blocks away, which has upscale Canadian dishes available. If you’re more of a carnivore, then try the Beast Restaurant, which is heavy on the meat for their menu choices. Alternatively, you can also try the Koja Sushi Restaurant or the Maizal for Mexican cuisine. 

For an evening on the town, the Brazen Head Irish Pub is a great place for sports fans who want good pub food with their game. After watching the big game there, you can head over to the Liberty Commons at Big Rock for a laid-back experience on their patio, where you can enjoy a serving of their Southern BBQ. The Old York Bar and Grill and the Banknote Bar are also nearby.

For whenever you need to get out and go for a walk, the Trinity Bellwoods Park is a large green space just north of the Bliss Condos and there are many more parks that dot the waterfront directly to the south. The Fort York National Historic Park and the Exhibition Grounds are also in the area.

Bliss Condos is located in a neighbourhood that is considered to be a fantastic place to walk and is also considered a great place to bike. They are also in an area marked as excellent for whenever you need to take the local transit.
