Sprouting out of the past, this brick complex of 144 suites stretches across 13 floors in the Distillery District. 80 Mill Street condos have one bedroom units with a den in addition to two bedroom units. One bedroom suites are available in a spacious 662 square foot size. The two bedroom suites in standard layout come in between 963 and 1,462 square feet in size. This Davis Smith Development building is a modern design adapted, in part, from one of the original buildings in the Distillery District. 80 Mill Street is an incredible feature in this historical part of downtown Toronto.

80 MILL STREET AMENITIES

Going to 80 Mill Street is like taking a journey into the past where you will immediately smile at the nostalgic feeling of seeing brick warehouses and factories converted into studios, galleries, restaurants and lounges. You will feel right at home in this classical, Victorian-Era part of the city. 80 Mill Street has the feeling of another time, and yet has all the modern conveniences of the 21st Century.

80 Mill Street features open-concept layouts and hardwood floors. Tall windows reach up to nine foot ceilings in this brick building. People looking for privacy will find Juliette balconies and private terraces allowing for pleasant views of the city or lake.

Reasonable requests for pet accommodation will be enthusiastically received at this building. There is no need for a gym membership here; 80 Mill Street has its own gym and exercise room. A night of entertaining is made easier with a common rooftop deck, party room and meeting room. Your guests will relax before they’ve even entered your home as there will be no need for them to have to search the city for a parking space, as 80 Mill Street has Visitor Parking available. For all of your travels beyond the Distillery District, transit routes are close by.

DISTILLERY DISTRICT NEIGHBOURHOOD

Minutes away from the Don River and the Waterfront, 80 Mill Street is right across the way from the heart of the Distillery District. After you cross the street, you will find yourself in the centre of cobblestone roads and Victorian, brick buildings. Shops and boutiques will draw you back into history as though you were taking a walk in the 19th century! Once the Gooderham and Worts Distillery, the entire area of forty buildings has been converted into a preserved, yet functional, shopping area. Here, you can indulge yourself in a pint of beer, gourmet chocolate, or some fine art. In the Distillery District, you won’t have to worry about dodging traffic, as the entire area is pedestrian-only. Here, everyday can be spent in a part of history, but without the need for a time machine!

For a meal, you can spend all of a minute walking to the Cluny Bistro, right around the corner or stop in for some Mexican fare at the El Catrin, which is just a little further down an old-fashioned road. The Distillery, named for the area it’s located in, is a fine dining room just a couple of blocks away where you can make reservations for just a few or a crowd. If you have a love of chocolate, then take a tour and then buy some locally made chocolate at the Soma Chocolate factory or spend the afternoon at the Young Centre Cafe.

For an evening of fine art, visit the Arta Gallery before taking in a play at the Soulpepper Theatre. If you need to just take a walk and enjoy the fresh air, then head to the Corktown Common located just 250 meters away from 80 Mill Street. There you can take a quick jog by the Don River flowing right by the park. If you’re feeling a little more adventurous, the Waterfront District is just on the other side of the Gardiner Expressway, where stores and boutiques are lined up along the water. There is also a ferry, which can take you to the Toronto Islands. Walk a bit further west and find yourself in the Downtown Core where every amenity imaginable is accessible.

The St. Lawrence Farmer’s Market is available for whenever you want to chat with the locals or just buy some fruit for the day. A Loblaws and Organics Live are also close by for all of your grocery needs.

The Distillery District is the perfect place to be in downtown Toronto for a person who wants to be submerged in the local culture and art. This is the place where there is always something exciting to do.
