There is the Akira Back for Japanese cuisine in an upscale, inventive restaurant. You can even walk to the Khao San Road, which is a popular Thai eatery, featuring communal tables where you can meet new people while you dine. 

At night, take in the local clubs and pubs around 393 on King. The Bar Hop is just next door and is a cozy, exciting tavern with a large selection of brews. The Office Pub is just a ten minute walk away, and has rustic decor, sports on the television, and karaoke nights! The Wide Open is also nearby and has a party atmosphere with unpretentious patrons. If you’re looking for a dance floor, then you can step into Tequila Jacks Toronto, or Fiction.

Whenever you feel the need to get out and stretch your legs, there are several parks and green spaces in the area to explore. You can take a short walk to the Clarence Square Park, just around the corner, or go further south to the Roundhouse Park. If you go north, you can explore the Alexandra Park or Grange Park. Going east will bring you to Simcoe Park, and the Victoria Memorial Square Park is just to the west. If you’d like to go out and see a play, there is the Factory Theatre, ScotiaBank Theatre Toronto, and the Necessary Angel Theatre in the immediate area. The Waterfront, Woodbine Beach, and the Distillery District are all in the vicinity, as well.
